About Us
Samarkand, or Samarqand, is a city in southeastern Uzbekistan and among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Central Asia — a meeting point of cultures along the historic Silk Road for over two thousand years.
Our restaurant is an elevated Uzbek dining experience in the heart of Dalston, London. We bring world-class hospitality and the highest restaurant standards to a menu rooted in authentic recipes and timeless techniques.
Each dish is carefully crafted with fresh ingredients and an artistic touch — from slow-simmered plov in the cast-iron kazan to samsa baked against the wall of a clay tandyr.
